About
Jason Hymowitz, DPM, MS, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon who evaluates and treats the entire spectrum of foot and ankle conditions. He specializes in sports medicine, musculoskeletal deformities, and post-traumatic and cosmetic surgical reconstruction. His philosophy of care is to treat every patient with compassion, a tailored plan of care, and with the latest technology and evidence-based medicine.
Dr. Hymowitz received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency at CarePoint Health, part of Hoboken University Medical Center in New Jersey. He also holds a Master’s of Science from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
Dr. Hymowitz has expertise in managing conditions with conservative care and only uses surgical intervention when appropriate. He offers minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques for treatment of the foot and ankle. One of the best parts of his job, he says, is seeing his patients complete treatment and find relief from pain.
Dr. Hymowitz holds several advanced certifications in arthroscopy and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. He also has extensive experience in a multitude of innovative therapies such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and BMAC stem cell injections.
When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Hymowitz maintains a very active lifestyle. His interests include golf, tennis, basketball, skiing, traveling, hiking, running, and supporting the Jets, Mets, Knicks, and Rangers.
