Dr. Daniel Feghhi is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in minimally-invasive operative treatment of sports-related injuries of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle. He also specializes in shoulder, hip, and knee replacements, with additional certification in minimally-invasive robotic-assisted surgery.
Dr. Feghhi works with patients to ensure a full understanding of their orthopedic options, including nonoperative treatment. When surgery is necessary, he provides the highest level of care and utilizes the most innovative technology available. Having undergone many orthopedic procedures, Dr. Feghhi understands the patient experience and strives to restore an active lifestyle as soon as possible.
Dr. Feghhi earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan. During his advanced sports fellowship program at the University of South Florida/Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. Feghhi assisted in the care of professional, collegiate, and top-tier high school teams, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has also received specialized training from a number of the nation’s top medical centers, including Boston Children’s Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and the University of Maryland School of Medicine Shock Trauma Center.
Dr. Feghhi has been published in numerous journals and given presentations at national professional conferences. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
