Vikram Premkumar, MD, MS, is a board certified and fellowship-trained hematologist/oncologist at Holy Name. As Program Director of Hematologic Malignancies, Dr. Premkumar is at the forefront of advancing the care of patients with blood cancers and related disorders such as leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome, among others. Dr. Premkumar has presented at numerous conferences on his expertise in multiple myeloma and amyloidosis. As an expert in Leukemia, he has been an invited panelist for regional conferences.

As cancer care is a uniquely personal experience, Dr. Premkumar takes the time to explore the different priorities of each of his patients and tailors a treatment plan accordingly. He stresses the importance of the patient-doctor relationship and makes himself available and accessible for the patients during their journey. Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those facing cancer, he has dedicated his career to providing compassionate care.
