Kevin Herman, MD, is an interventional radiologist, board-certified in radiology, with a special interest in interventional oncology and venous disease. He holds two patents on devices related to interventional radiology and has a strong interest in the development of emerging IR technologies. Dr. Herman joined Holy Name Medical Center's Interventional Institute in August 2009.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School, he completed his medical internship at Staten Island University Hospital, his diagnostic radiology residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, and an interventional radiology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
While in training, Dr. Herman received the Roetgen Resident/Fellow Research Award and the New England Institute of Jewish Studies Maimonides Scholars Fellowship Award. He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
