Tariqshah Syed, MD, is an interventional cardiologist who is board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine. He has a special interest in preventive cardiology, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, coronary artery disease, cardiac catheterization and stenting, atrial fibrillation and heart failure. Dr. Syed is has been named a "Top Doctor" by Castle Connolly, Inside Jersey and New York Magazine.

Dr. Syed earned his medical doctorate degree from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar, Pakistan where he graduated summa cum laude. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Saint Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center. Dr. Syed completed his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at The Mount Sinai Medical Center and his fellowship in interventional cardiology at Saint Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Syed has been published in renowned medical journals and is a participant in various research studies. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the New Jersey Medical Society and the American College of Cardiology.
