Dr. David Wild is a board-certified cardiologist and the Director of Echocardiography and Cardiac Rehabilitation at Holy Name. He believes prevention and early detection of disease is key to cardiac health and enjoys creating long-lasting relationships with his patients. He is proud to be at Holy Name because of its warm, caring environment where providers treat each patient as an individual.
Dr. Wild is board certified in cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, and internal medicine. He has extensive experience in computed tomography and a special interest in preventive cardiology and cardiac imaging.
Dr. Wild has been named a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly and has been recognized by the Jewish Standard’s Readers' Choice Awards consistently for the past decade. He is a member of the Medical Society of New Jersey, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Wild earned his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, Montefiore Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center (now Mount Sinai West) in New York, where he served as Chief Fellow. While there, he received additional training in cardiac imaging.
Outside the office, Dr. Wild enjoys playing basketball, skiing, golfing, and spending time with his children.
