About
Dr. Jen F. Lee is a board-certified, fellowship-trained hand, forearm, and upper arm surgeon, as well as a general orthopedic surgeon. He completed his medical degree at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. His approach to care is treating every patient as if they are a member of his family.
Dr. Lee completed his orthopedic surgery residency from the renowned Hospital for Joint Disease in New York City, now NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital, and received his fellowship training from the University of Minnesota’s Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship Program. He gained advanced experience in fracture and trauma care during his training at the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Lee is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is active in orthopedic research and has authored various publications in hand and orthopedic surgery. He is often named one of the top hand surgeons in the area and is regularly selected by BERGEN Magazine as one of the region’s “Top Doctors,” most recently for 2023.
Outside of his practice, he is the school physician for the Fort Lee Public Schools and team physician for the Fort Lee high school football team. One of the most rewarding aspects of his work, he says, is helping eliminate financial barriers to care for underserved patients.
